Shirley E. Halsey

Shirley E. Halsey age 73 of Frencbhurg, KY passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in the St. Claire Hospital, Morehead, KY after an extended illness. Born January 5,1951 in Mt.Sterling, KY, son of Clint and Noka Bailey Halsey. He was a retired carpenter and a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Surviving is his wife, Rosetta Greear Halsey and four children, Marty Halsey, Marlena Abney, Curtis Berry and Robin Henry. 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law Mary Halsey. He was preceded in death by his parents Clint and Noka Bailey Halsey, two brothers, Billy and Danny Halsey and sister-in-law Ann Halsey.

Funeral services will be 12: noon Friday, March 29, 2024, in Menifee Home for Funeral Chapel with Pastor Scott Barnes officiating. Interment in Catron Cemetery, Pomeroyton, KY. Visitation, 6:00pm, Thursday in Menifee Home for Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey Funeral Director. Pallbearers will be Friends and Relatives.
